| Autoclavable Pipette The pipette body of all Autoclavable Pipettes is fully autoclavable. The vital parts are made of anodized aluminum, high-grade stainless steel and durable plastics, reducing the risk of accidental breakage and assuring that the pipette will keep the good condition and high accurate results for a longer period. They are also resistant to most chemicals such as acids and solvents. A major and often overlooked source of error in pipetting comes from using pipette tips that do not fit the pipette optimally. To ensure a tight seal between pipette and tips, Autoclavable Pipettes have O-rings on the tip bases. The rings help getting a good seal even if the tip is out of the optimal shape, minimizing the risk of false air and false results. |
